Bellevue Botanical Garden Engagement Session

I’m so excited to share this engagement session for Anna and Ben! They love the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest and chose the beautiful Bellevue Botanical Gardens in March on their break from college. Thankfully we were blessed with a clear, sunny day on the day of their session, although, it was quite cold — and they were troopers. We strolled through the newly emerging spring gardens and found beauty everywhere. I just had such a blast talking with them and getting to know them better. I’m so excited and thankful to be photographing their wedding next summer (yes, they are planning ahead to 2019). Happy congratulations to them both —

Here are a few words about how they met!

Anna’s words: “Ben and I met in middle school orchestra when my family moved to Issaquah, but nothing much happened there, and we barely even talked until high school. We started dating in our senior year of high school after both of us finally gave into our feelings for each other. Music definitely is one of the main things that brought us together, and has been such a big part of our relationship! And of course Ben proposed at Swingin’ in Vienna while our high school orchestra was playing a piece that we wrote. It couldn’t have been more perfect!”
