The Arctic Club Styled Wedding, Part I

Seattle Wedding Photographer | The Arctic Club Styled Wedding, Part I

Sara and Emery, Ronda and Keith were joyful couples on an amazing day!

Everything you could want in a styled wedding, with the same format as a wedding day: happy brides and grooms, stunning venues in the heart of downtown Seattle, georgeous florals, beautiful gown, hair and makeup, details on a tight timeline with real deadlines. We had the opportunity to put together a wedding styled shoot with an unexpected twist — can you believe we had a venue change on the actual day of the shoot? Imagine that—but we managed to find two additional venues (stay tuned for Part Two) where we could feature our brides and grooms. Did I mention how much I enjoy working as part of a team? A shout out to Dawn Hildebrand of Hildebrand Photography for wrangling the event and the venues. Urban weddings was our theme and the Arctic Club offers a historic venue tht’s part of the National Register of Historic Places and is also a city of Seattle landmark. It features a Northern Lights Dome Room that’s spectacular, along with stuccoed ceilings and ornamented cornices–only a block from Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square, and in the heart of downtown.

There was laughter as we met the challenges of keeping within our original timeline and also moving our team from location to location — I remember laughing out loud and saying, “This is just like a real wedding day! Let’s go and remember to take it all in, enjoy it, and have fun —“ A spectacular day — we met every challenge with passion and having incredibly beautiful venues was fantastic, where we worked around all the guests, spectators, and passers-by. A million thank yous to everyone involved, from the venues, to the team, and to those who joined in to help—-we can’t thank you enough! and I would love to work with you all again. Truly fantastic.
